What is a tracker?
A cookie is a small file placed by a website in your browser; the browser’s local storage serves a comparable function. These trackers allow your browser to be recognised from one page or visit to the next.
Trackers used
Google Tag Manager, which drives audience measurement, is only loaded after you accept. If you refuse, no audience-measurement tracker is set and no data is sent to Google.
| Name | Issuer | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| sofali-consent | SOFALI (browser local storage) | Remember your consent choice. Exempt from consent. | 6 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Distinguish visitors (audience measurement). Set only after acceptance. | 2 years (Google Analytics default) |
| _ga_<identifier> | Google Analytics 4 | Persist the browsing session state. Set only after acceptance. | 2 years (Google Analytics default) |
Your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse audience measurement. The site applies Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept, the consent state passed to Google Tag Manager is “denied” and no audience-measurement tag runs. Your choice is kept for six months in your browser; you will be asked again afterwards.
You can change your choice at any time through the “Manage my cookies” button at the bottom of every page or below. If you refuse after having accepted, the Google Analytics cookies are removed from your browser.
Browser settings
You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies; the help sections of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge describe how. Refusing cookies has no effect on your ability to browse the site.
Personal data
The data collected by audience measurement and your rights are described in the privacy policy.
